My name is Carolyn Pine. I am a registered general nurse and independent prescriber, with 35 years of experience as a qualified nurse, 23 of them as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (BSc hons), working in general practice.

 

I have been committed to lifelong learning and have undertaken many courses including minor surgery and joint injections, and the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants. After working for so many years at an advanced level and with the stress of such a job I decided I needed to start doing something I would find more enjoyable so decided upon aesthetics. It is an option I had toyed with for many years before taking the plunge, and wish I had done it earlier.

 

I remain committed to learning and continued education and development, although now in the aesthetics field. I find aesthetics so fulfilling and so much fun, meeting patients and, together, deciding on solutions that will enhance their natural beauty, in an age appropriate and natural looking way.

 
All of the procedures I undertake are medical treatments and, as such, follow a medical model, ensuring safety and appropriateness at all times. Medical assessment and examination, treatment and follow up care are provided. I offer treatments for facial rejuvenation, dermal fillers, skin boosters and micro-needling.

My practice is covered by a comprehensive medical insurance via Hamilton Fraser, and I am registered with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) with a valid registration and PIN.
Safety is paramount in my practice, so all patients are offered a free consultation prior to any procedure to discuss your wants and needs. After this we can discuss what treatment options are available to achieve a natural aesthetic result. I will never carry out a treatment that is unnecessary or one that will cause any disparity within your appearance.

All treatments carry some element of risk, these will be discussed with you prior to any procedures being done. Any questions you may have can be addressed at that time and anytime up to your procedure.

I offer treatments and procedures using only the best quality products that are FDA approved and regulated. (including Teoxane, Bocouture, Juvederm, Belotero)
 

Many of my referrals are from patients’ friends and family and I feel this speaks more than any advertising as, let’s face it, you wouldn’t recommend someone you weren’t happy with to perform treatments on your face!
